Millis is proud of being the only grade 1-12 Spanish Immersion district in Massachusetts. Each of our schools is recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education as an International Spanish Academy (ISA). One of the many benefits of our partnership as an ISA is the ability to host Spanish Language Assistants. These assistants are recent university graduates from Spain who work in our schools with our students to enhance our Spanish program. Being able to interact with a native speaker and learn about their culture and home is a powerful experience for our students. Host families also benefit from sharing their home with our guests from Spain.
