Class of 2019: Important Dates and Info
Posted on 04/02/2019

Greetings Class of 2019!

Hard to believe but we are 6 weeks out from the Seniors last day of classes and 9 weeks out from Graduation. To assist you in preparing for what's to come, following is a list of the most commonly asked questions regarding upcoming dates and activities for seniors.

AP EXAMS -- Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 17th
Students will be receiving communication about these exams from the Guidance Department. Please see your Guidance Counselor with any questions.

The Prom is hosted by the Junior class and will be held at Avenir in Walpole. This is also an early release day. Please see your class officers with any Prom related questions.

We will start collecting school issued iPads, cases, brick and chargers (seniors only) after April vacation. You are welcome to hang onto your device until your classes and senior projects are completed. However, all school issued equipment must be returned, charged and in good working order before graduation practices begin on Tuesday, June 4th.

SENIOR PROJECT PRESENTATIONS - Monday, May 20th through Friday, May 24th
All presentations will be held at the Millis Public Library. To ensure you are on target, it is highly encouraged you have a rough draft of your final paper and project completed before April vacation.

SENIOR WEEK -- Tuesday, May 28th through Wednesday, June 5th
All senior week activities are decided upon and run by the Senior class. An activity schedule with cost and permission slips has been made available to the senior class. Please reach out to Senior Class Advisor, Samantha Laney at , or to any of your 2019 Class Officers, should you need an itinerary or have questions.

GRADUATION PRACTICE -- Tues., June 4th, 10-12pm & Wed., June 5th, 10-12pm in the Gym
Attendance is mandatory. If you are unable to attend a practice, you must notify Mrs. Bedard in the HS Main Office as soon as possible. Caps, gowns and your seniors' school/medical records will be distributed at this time. There is no charge for the cap & gown. However, if a student owes an obligation to the school such as dues, a cafe balance, books, athletic uniform, etc. they will not receive their cap and gown or participate in Graduation unless the obligation is fulfilled. You will be advised at practice if they have any such obligations.

CLASS DAY -- Thursday, June 6th, 12:15-2:20pm, in the Gym
This is an all school assembly in which seniors receive class awards, dedicate chairs to faculty members and execute the reading of the class will, yearbook dedication and class prophecy. Parents are welcome to attend.

GRADUATION -- Thursday, June 6th, in the Gym
